After shopping, tap the '+' button in the app (or go to Contribute on the web) and choose to add a receipt.

Our scanner works best when the receipt is:
- ✓Flat on a surface (not crumpled)
- ✓Well-lit with no shadows
- ✓Entire receipt visible in frame
- ✓Text is readable and in focus
AI Reads Your Receipt
AI (Google Gemini) reads the photo and pulls out:

Check the extracted data and correct any errors. Then tap 'Submit' to contribute!

Enter the price & store
Select the store and type the price you saw
Optional: Add photo proof

✨ Quality Guidelines
✅ Good Contributions
- • Clear, readable receipt photos
- • Current prices (within last 7 days)
- • Accurate store selection
- • Correct product matching
❌ Please Avoid
- • Old receipts (more than 7 days)
- • Blurry or cropped images
- • Wrong store attribution
- • Promotional/sale prices without marking as "on sale"
🔍 How We Verify Submissions
All submissions go through our verification system to ensure accuracy:
Auto-Check: Each price is checked against recent prices for that item
Community Validation: Multiple similar submissions increase confidence
Contributor Reputation: Established users with good track records get faster approval
📄 Receipts = Points!
Each receipt earns you 5 points per item (up to 50) plus a 15-point bonus. That's up to 65 points a receipt!
